I’ve seen a few videos from TED before on Google Video – namely, Ze Frank’s 20 minute presentation – however, I had no idea that in fact, TED provides high quality (mp4, mp3 compression) from each presentation on their official website.
TED is a conference that is focused on having the leading cultural and scientific thinkers of the day share ideas with the public (or, at least, the attendees of the conference). There’s a lot of big names that have given a presentation at TED – Bono, Malcolm Gladwell (author of “The Tipping Point”), Richard Dawkins, Rick Warren (“The Purpose Driven Life”), Daniel Dennet (“Breaking the Spell”), Michael Shermer (“Why People Believe Weird Things”), and many more. There’s a cornucopia of great ideas and thought here that are well presented and entertaining.
